I decided again this year not to send out Christmas cards for a multitude of reasons, the main one being that I could easily bankrupt myself, between postage and the sheer number of perfect photo cards I’d want. Because I’d want to send them to everyone, see.

Instead. Digital.

Saturnalia was the Roman feast that occurred at this time of year. Many cynics say that the Catholic Church positioned its celebration of Christ’s birth at this time of year to hide its celebration in the Roman time of partyin’ and stuff – in order to prevent the persecutions that were going on at the time. The FIRST example of “When in Rome, etc.”
